Mission Malawi
Our mission to Malawi and Mozambique has been supporting 16 churches (representing over 6000 people), along with an orphanage over the past decade, which includes:
– Monthly financial support of Pastor Joshua, the coordinator of Mission Malawi & Mozambique.
– Financial and material support for the orphanage in Blantyre, Malawi.
– Hosting and presenting an annual Pastors and Leadership Conference for between 400 and 600 leaders, to develop the leadership capacity of church and social leaders in Malawi.
Mission Malawi
Future vision: To build a community centre in Blantyre, Malawi, which would host a church, school, and proper dormitories for the orphans. Those interested in donating towards this vision can contact us at info@cohcc.net.

LOCAL
HUMANITARIAN WORK
City of Hope Church currently supports, on a monthly basis, three orphanages and one house for physically challenged folk. These orphanages depend solely on churches, and the private sector, as they have no government funding.
- During November we run Operation Love, by which various families prepare a Christmas gift box for each orphan.
- During June we run Operation Hope, by which various families donate a blanket, beanie and other winter essentials to each orphan.

PRISON MINISTRY
City of Hope Church sponsors over 100 Students in the local Prison to study Bible school, or Counselling School. This sponsorship amounts to around R600 000-00 PA ($37 500). Over the past 20 years, this ministry has assisted in the effective rehabilitation of numerous inmates who were subsequently released and are today making positive contribution to society.
This number of students we disciple are only limited by available funding. We can easily triple our student number to 300 in the men’s prison, and another 300 in the woman’s prison, should adequate funding be available.
Vision 10 000 aims to present our Relentless inner-healing Retreat to 10 000 inmates over the next 10 years.
This would cost an estimate of R300-00 per inmate (or R300 000 000-00 for 10 000 inmates), but would be a massive step in rehabilitant inmates and turning the culture in correctional facilities.

OUR HOPE CENTRE
seeks to restore folk and families via various courses, seminars, programs, and personal counselling. These include an inner-healing weekend seminar, a 13-week Divorce Care program, a 13-week Grief share Program, parenting seminars, marriage enrichment seminars and more. Our signature inner healing seminar, the Relentless Retreat has already ministered to over 3000 people across South Africa. Requests to present this seminar are received on a weekly basis, but due to limited resources we cannot always meet this demand. For more info click this link.
